M5 CP Avatar (Part 1)

For this assignment I decided to go with creating an avatar. Below are the 3 options that I will choose from. I looked for headshots that were free of anything in the background, hair pulled off of the face or no to list hair, eyes are prominent and pictures that are forward facing.

Module 2: PhotoMontage - Image Hijack (Part 2)

The political issue I created a photomontage around the social issue of Black Lives Matter. Black Lives Matter ( BLM ) is a decentralized political and social movement protesting against incidents of police brutality and all racially motivated violence against black people. The movement has beeb around for many years, however with the death of George Floyd at the hands of the police last year, it bought the movement front and center. At that time, President Donald Trump, not only did an atrocious job of handling the social injustice, he pretty much sided with the oppressors. My solution is depicted in this photomontage. For the final design I chose to go with a photomontage that uses the all so famous Game of Thrones, Iron Throne with Abraham Lincoln sitting in the throne. The thought behind these two images used alongside each other is to who the need to have a powerful figure rule or lead America during these times so that we as a country can overcome racial and social injus

Module 4: Book Cover Design - Part 1

Fifty Shades of Grey, is a 2015 American, erotic film drama that was based on a novel of the same name written by E.L. James. The story includes the romantic relationship between a college student, Anastasia and businessman, Christian. As the relationship begins, Christian introduces Anastasia his secret. Christian does not engage in traditional romantic relationships, and has no desire to fall in love with someone. He achieves sexual gratification by engaging in dominant-submissive relationships where a woman agrees to be submissive in all aspects of her life, and accepts physical punishment when she violates any aspect of their contract. A part of Christian's erotica includes the red room, where many of his sexual escapades take place. During their relationship, Anastasia and Christian uses Christian neck tie as part of their erotica. The book cover for the first book simply shows a picture of that neck tie.
